Hi! I am sorry to hear what all you have been going through. Recurrent EBV or lingering EBV infection can cause extreme fatigue. However, this is not likely to trigger an autoimmune reaction. Low thyroid and asthma can be autoimmune diseases. At your age the fatigue can also be due to pre-menopausal hormone changes. So, you need to get this aspect investigated as well. Generally hormone replacement therapy helps get back the vigour. Other than this, since you had recurrent styes, you must rule out the possibility of diabetes. Hope this helps. Take care!

microcalcification question

Microcalcifications are an indication of the response of the breast tissue to some abnomality that is present within the breast. This is definitely NOT always due to cancer. These calcifications do occur normally within breast tissue but are scattered about. when they are observed in groups or certain patterns they then are cause for concern. This is when a biopsy is recommended to discover this cause. You will not know the results of the biopsy immediatly; the specimen is sent to the Pathology Lab where it is studied ... the results are usually available within 4 to 7 days ... depending on what day of the week the biopsy is done and also the institution. The final report will be sent to your Physician/Surgeon and explained to you in detail either by phone or in person. Yes, the waiting is the worst .. everyone says that. Best Wishes .......

Just got hit again...

I'm sorry to hear about this, but IMO, we need to empower ourselves and set the bar HIGH when it comes to who we will spend our energy on in our lives.  YOU are in control of who you align yourself with, and it sounds like this person maybe shouldn't be on the list? Surround yourself with supportive people, not people who want to make you feel worse, or kick you while you're down. Hang in there, try not to let it get to you.
