Panic Attacks Everyday All Day
It has nothing to do with weakness. I absolutely hate taking medication for anything because I, like you, feel like it is not natural. Anxiety and depression are basically chemicals in the brain that are firing off wrong. We all have levels of fear, excitement, anger, peace, and such, it's just the lucky ones like us (pun intended) have problems with our brain firing off too much or too little of these. (Sorry if I totally missed that explanation, it's just how I understood it)
Sometimes you need medications for this sort of thing. I take Cymbalta. Which has helped a whole lot.
The brain is a very interesting thing, to say the least. I thought about a panic attack this morning and about 5 minutes later, I began having one. About 2 months ago, it would have been a full blown....can't breath, shaking, sweating, nauseated, attack, but I was able to say "No!" and start thinking about good things instead of focusing on health issues that I don't have.
