Will I ever feel normal again?

Having a terrible summer. I slowly eased into these symptoms, and after last night I just couldn't take it anymore. I had to share. I woke up after an hour of sleep having weird feelings like I'm losing control and going crazy. Feel very weird, dreamlike, and scared, and couldn't stop thinking about it until I finally fell asleep. Woke up today and immediately thought about these feelings. Scared about what/why it is happening and constantly thinking about it. Thinking about it so much that I feel like I will never return to a normal state of living, like this will always be dra

Those are common anxiety symptoms. However maybe the sinus problem is just alittle worse than before? Also you could be experiencing the anxiety just from how bad you are feeling. Hopefully things will clear up but see your family doctor if you dont start to feel better soon. Good Luck and keep us updated

Craving codeine. Day4 weaning

Hi There!   What you are feeling is VERY normal.  It's part of withdraws.  Feeling extremely lethargic, like you can't even get off the couch, yawning, teary eyes, runny nose, diarrhea, creepy crawly skin, restless legs.  It DOES go away.  You just need to give yourself a few days and know that each day you are healing and getting better.   In the meantime, your mind IS going to play tricks on you with cravings.  The #1 thing you need to do is get rid of all your potential sources.  Then when those thoughts about 'what have I done' creep in, you know you did the right thing rather than give in to them.  You don't want to, nor do you have to, do this ever again.  It gets harder each time to do.  When will you be completely done?   You have made an excellent decision and we will help you through the process.  When you are past the worst of it, you will be so glad you did this, even though it doesn't feel like that right now.

Major anxeity

Since you have had a great many medical tests done which have all returned normal, what that leaves on the table is anxiety. That is no doubt the reason you were started on Xanax. The symptoms you've described are fairly classic anxiety/panic symptoms and it's possible the dose of Xanax you're on is simply not controlling your anxiety. You should speak with your doctor about this. Your anxiety, as you've stated, seems to be focused on a fear of dying, which is known as thanatophobia. Out of this fear, it is common to develop hypochondria......the fear that every little ache and pain is a major disease which is going to kill us. When you talk with your doctor about better control for your anxiety, please discuss with him the fears you have shared with us. I believe that you would greatly benefit by getting into therapy to overcome these fears that are crippling your life. You've said you just want it to stop so you can be normal again........and with the help of a good therapist, it will. Please reach out for this help and get your life back. Peace RubyWitch
