Healthy anxiety

Last Tuesday I had symptoms of uti Saturday I went to this place called carespot and I got antibiotics  called cipro  it's now Tuesday again and I'm still peeing quite often I don't have any pain no burning I just have a urge to pee like every 1 to 3 hours when will this stop ? I have terrible health anxiety and I'm scared I might be dying I'm not use to peeing this much I use to go like 3 times a day now it's like 4 or 5 now I'm 26 by the way

hi i have had anxiety on and off for 10 years just recently i have been taking proprananol beta blockers cause i dont like the side effects of anti-depressants, i had no side effects off the betas (i know everyones different) and havent had a panic attack as such, i do still suffer wi the anxiety although i think thats cause i moved onto hypochondria!!!!

Best long-term anxiety management meds?

I take Zoloft and Pristiq and Risperdal for my Panic Disorder and MDD.  I think Zoloft is awesome.  For me, it really helps.  If I'm ever "in a slump" or having a cumulative time of greater than normal anxiety issues, my psychiatrist may up my doseage a little for a specified time and it seems to knock it right out.  Then after some therapy and time, we bring it back down.  Works like a charm.  My favorite day is about day 2 or 3 when suddenly I just feel that Zoloft kick in.  LOVE THAT sudden release from constant anxiety.

Get your electrolytes checked out -- Potassium, Magnesium, Sodium, Calcium.  They may be low even if it doesn't show up on the test.  The Magnesium and Potassium are very important to all of this, as they are needed for healthy muscle function. couple questions for my fellow anxiety sufferers

Yes first of all STAY AWAY FROM GOOGLE!!! It is the worst thing for people like us. I actually had to uninstall the google tool bar so I wouldn't be tempted lol. As far as your symptoms, I haven't noticed any change in bowel movements with my anxiety..thats pretty much the only symptoms I don't have. But I'm sure others will tell you they do. Driving around, or doing anything for that matter gives me relief for the most part. When I was younger I use to take long drives to think and reflect, so it is only natural for that to be helpful to me now. (as long as it doesn't involve being stuck in traffic, cause thats a whole other story) And yes my anxiety in the beginning seemed to not be as bad at night. Now however, its just the opposite. Its different for everyone, and a long uphill battle. But you aren't alone. We are all floating in the same little boat with you. Good Luck Crystal

Wanna know if anyone feels like I do from anxiety

Hi, and welcome to Medhelp. I think you'll find this to be a great site. It sounds to me like you not only have anxiety but depression going on too. Of course I'm not a Dr and can not diagnose you. I'm glad to hear you're in therapy. I do have to wonder why your Dr started you off on Prozac. It does help many people but it's not always the first choice for try. Almost all of the antidepressants can cause side effects the first few days. Nausea, feeling strange, headaches. You really need to give them a chance though if you can tolerate the side effects for a few days.I would recommend starting on a low dose and working your way up if you feel like you're sensitive to them. I hope you continue to keep posting here because this site is great and the members are so wonderful and caring.

Feeling anxious from shortness of breath.

Shortness of breath and chest tightness are a common symptom of anxiety and anxiety attacks. Also, if you overthink things like that wh your health, you will start to feel like you can't breath and things of that such. I'm sure you are fine, because anxiety can cause that. But it doesn't hurt to check it out if you really are worried.
