Husband wants to leave me
Hello and welcome. Sorry I couldn't respond earlier. I am sorry for what you have been through. I know the heartache. Hun your husband is not taking responsibility for his addiction. Addicts lie, deceive, manipulate, try to cast blame on others for why they do what they do.
Until he takes blame for his part in this,is honest with himself and you he will not be on the road called recovery.
There is no way his cravings for alcohol went away in one day. That is a lie.
It isn't mentally or physically possible.
The counselors usually don't recommend any life changing moves within the first year of recovery. He is just mad and needs to lay blame somewhere.
How long is he supposed to stay in rehab?
I would recommend you going to al-anon.we also need recovery, healing and restoration. We get just as sick as they are physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.
Do you have someone you can confide in? Family, friends, a pastor?
How old are your children?
There is always hope.
Keep the faith,
