Do I have acne and what should I do to help it?

I am a 13-year-old boy and one day spots started showing up on my chest, these then spread nearly everywhere on my body bar my face, calves and pelvic region. They vary in size from very small to around half a centimetre, all red in colour and mainly concentrated around the chest. After being subjected to hot water they become blotchy and more prominent. Just before this, I noticed a blotchy mark on my leg wich was red in colour with skin flaking off occasionally. I was wondering what this was and if I need to do anything to it.

Mature oily sensitive and acne prone skin

I suggest a good skin care regime.Wash with a gentle water soluble cleansr like cetaphil am and pm.then use a beta hydroxy after cleansing. to exfoliate.I get mine at cosmetcs cop .com paulas choice. Since you have sensitive skin just use the beta hydroxy in the pm . Only moisturize if you feel dry.Now for active breakouts use benzoil peroxide to disinfect. Hey Marko! The spots look like comedones. You could try regular scrubbing and streaming the face along with ointments containing benzoyl peroxide/ clindamycin and see if this seems to help. If you do not notice improvement I would suggest consulting a dermatologist for alternative therapy. Hope this is helpful. Take care!
