Hormonal acne brought on by STD?

Within the past month I had unprotected sex with someone I don't know very well. Recently I started breaking out under my nose and on my chin area, which I've read were my hormonal areas in regards to acne. Could a STD like Chlamydia be the cause of this? I'm 36 and no stranger to breakouts and a few years back, I had syphilis. Unfortunately being blind to the symptoms I went almost a year without knowing.
