Pain

Hi! I was an elementary school teacher moving a large -150 lb.+ tv on a moveable cart which I found later wasn't strapped down. It fell and struck me on the neck. I had a lumbar L4-5 fusion with discectomy, fracture, and a spondylolisthesis 3-10. I continued to have more pain, numbness, etc. I was doing to have myelopathy. I had an ACDF fusion with myelopathy in 4-11. I've had chronic pain since then but continue to exercise and eat healthy. New problem: I had Flexion/extension cervical  X-rays in August. The report showed a Anterolisthesis on one level and a retrolisthesis

Sharp pain at the back of shoulder blade

I have the same thing. Mine seems to be brought on by driving, if I have my upper body in the forward position and while raising my arms. The pain starts in the center of my upper back and intensifies to a nerve pain. It lasts about a minute then subsides. The pain is made worse if k arch my back outwards but Improves if I push my shoulders back and take a long deep breath. I went to an urgent care facility on Nov 10th. They said muscle strain and prescribed Motrin and muscle relaxers. I can't take the relaxed cause they make me extremely tired. It's now Dec 22 and I'm still having pain. No insurance is my problem. I don't know how long j can take it. Chest x Ray was normal.

Lower back pain near kidney

Hi! I am sorry to hear about your medical problems. No, your symptoms cannot be due to an OCD. The symptoms are most likely to be due to nerve compression caused either by a slipped disc or spinal stenosis, or wrong posture. Since you have an intra-uterine device (IUD), the other possibility is pelvic inflammatory disease. Sometimes, a displaced IUD can cause similar symptoms. Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral. Take care! The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.
