Makes sense to vacuum a HEPA filter ??

I've never used a hepa filter, but my pulmonary specialist did suggest to me to try to wear a dust mask while vacuuming, so I"m not breathing in all stirred up dust particles. And then she said to stay out of the house 30 minutes after vacuuming. I agree it doesn't sound right to vacuum the hepa filter clean, especially if your allergies are bad. Perhaps it is just better to buy a new filter and find out where you can dispose of the old one for recycling.

twitching pain after breast stereotactic vacuum biopsy

Yes the clip could be taken out but it is left there for a reason. This will show that some action has been taken regarding this particular area so that it wouldn't be thought to be a new area of concern. The clips are Titanium and harmless as a rule .... as far as the discomfort you are feeling I'm not sure unless there is some scar tissue forming that would cause the feelings you describe. The hard lumps may be either small hematomas due to bleeding at the time of the biopsy OR scar tissue. If they are hematomas they may be absorbed in time .. scar tissue of course will not change. A month is not long for complete healing to take place so I wouldn't be worried.   Regards ...

autism/spergers/speech???

Asperger's implies that the child is capable of speech (there problems are usually with pragmatic speech.  In fact, that is the main reason that they are diagnosed so much later than others on the ASD spectrum.  Most doctors won't even make an Asperger's diagnosis until the child is 4 or 5. It may take awhile - the doctors are still fighting over what my son has and we have been doing this for 4 years now.  Good luck and be patient.  Controlling the behaviors and getting your child to interact should be your main focus.  I new another little boy that attacked children for fun (no empathy).  He attacked one of my children with a baseball bat and he threw another one off a bunk bed (we decided to best avoid the family after those incidents as he really hurt my children and the parents were rather non-chalant about it all).  The last time I talked to her they had found out that he had a brain malformation.   I am not saying there is anything medical wrong with your child - but besides the behavioral experts - you should also rule out all medical.  We found out that my son was gluten intolerant after a few blood tests.  We changed his diet and had some success with his behavior.  He also acted poorly if he had certain artificially colored foods.  At first his doctors poo-pooed it - and a year later admitted it was possible after a large study had been done in Lanclet.  I didn't need a study - just a bottle of orange soda.

stereotactic vacuum biopsy---not as bad as it sounds!

Hi, It is indeed a noble thought to come back and reassure the others about the procedure. Anxiety and the fear about the biopsy procedure sometimes dissuades many from getting it done. Your post would help motivate them so that a confirmed diagnosis can be reached. Keep up the good work. Regards.

Is vacuum hand pump a risk for breast cancer?

These mehthods DO NOT increase your breast size !!  The only way to increase your breast size would be plastic surgery =  Breast Augmentation. You are wasting your money and your time and this may indeed be harmful in some way to the breast tissue if continued long term.   Regards ....

Back pain that wakes me up at night and is worse when I am resting or sitting???

Hi there! Well, without a detailed clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include postural issues, joint inflammation/ degeneration, neuro-muscular causes such as muscle sprain, nerve impingement, injuries to muscles/ ligaments, inflammations, spinal causes such as degeneration, micronutrient deficiencies, referred pain from other regions etc. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a primary care physician initially and depending on the cause diagnosed/ suspected, it can be managed accordingly or specialist care may be sought. Meanwhile you could take some tylenol/ OTC NSAIDS and see of these seem to help. Hope this is helpful. Take care!
