understanding my mri
Ok, for the most part your MRI looks okay, but you do have those 2 small disc herniations in your Thoracic spine. Disc herniations aren't that common in the T-spine, but they do happen. I would file the claim if I was you.
Disc problems in these areas can cause mid and upper back pain and definitely chest wall pain. You didn't mention how much pain you've been having, but if you've had 2 MRI's, you must have some pain. I have problems in that area myself, so I know the pain can get pretty bad.
Your report states that you don't have "significant" problems at these levels, but it does admit that there are problems, that's probably why your back and chest hurt. You should probably ask your Doctor about lifting restrictions and maybe sending you to P.T. for awhile. Your going to have to watch this and pay attention to how you feel, because you don't want to do anything to make yourself worse because problems in those areas can cause a lot of pain and be very difficult to treat.
